Fall Colours 2010--Best Time

Question? I know you can not predict exactly when the leaves will change color but we are booking a trip with VIA rail in the Fall of 2010.  Do you think if we came through Ontario and Quebec around the 27 of September we would see the colors?  Or would it be better into October?  Any input based on previous years would really be helpful as this is the only reason we are going at this time of the year.
Answer?  Your timing is perfect as the peak fall colour season is the last week of September, and the first week of October.

Stock Symbol: MBT

WINNIPEG, March 31 /CNW/ - On Thursday, April 1, Cindy Klassen, Canada's greatest Olympian, comes home. Back in Manitoba for the first time since competing in the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games, Cindy will take some time to meet her fans in Winnipeg and Brandon at two MTS sponsored events.
On Thursday, April 1 (from 11am to noon), Cindy will visit the MTS Connect Store at Winnipeg's Polo Park shopping centre to say a few words and sign autographs for fans. MTS is inviting the public to give Cindy a warm welcome home.
On Saturday, April 3 (from 4pm to 8pm), Cindy will be in Brandon to participate in the Royal Winter Fair. She'll sign autographs for fans at the MTS booth in the Keystone Centre's Manitoba Room from 4:00pm to 4:30pm, and will be participating in the Fair's premier event, the MTS Grand Prix, on Saturday evening.
"We can think of no better person to represent MTS Allstream than Cindy Klassen and we're very proud to have her on our team," said Pierre Blouin, Chief Executive Officer, MTS Allstream. "In the past year alone, she has been recognized as one of the world's top 10 athletes of the decade, had a recreation complex named after her, and had her image on the front of the Canadian quarter. It is truly an honour to have such a well-respected Canadian as part of the MTS Allstream family."
Having just won yet another gold medal in the women's team pursuit speed skating event at the World Cup in Europe, Cindy is coming home to spend time with her friends and family.
Cindy Klassen is Canada's greatest Olympian. At the 2006 Olympic Winter Games, she became the only Canadian to win five medals at a single Winter Olympics. She won Gold in the 1500 m, Silver in the 1000 m, Silver in the Team Pursuit, Bronze in the 5000 m and Bronze in the 3000 m. Cindy also captured an Olympic Bronze medal in 2002, making her one of the most decorated Canadian Olympic athletes in history, with a total of six Olympic medals.  See more information on Manitoba Canada
